What we want to do
We want to teach fitness and exercise to participants. This can be either individual participants or groups. We are looking to focus on training participants from schools and clubs. This will be in a range of environments including the gym, hall, or outside area. This will help them within their knowledge and technical ability using the equipment in the gym. We will be hoping to coach athletes as well if that becomes available.
Why do we want to do this?
There are many different reasons why we want to do this. We want to give our knowledge and experience to the pupils. We want to show that fitness doesn't just have to be in a gym or done through sports. We want to show the pupils that they can work on sports and skill-based exercise. We want to show them new opportunities by using the gym or other types of exercise. We want to do this so we can improve some of the pupil's social skills by doing it through group exercise.
The participants are being taught many things regarding the gym and how to use it properly. They will gain the knowledge on how to use the correct form for the exercises. They will gain the knowledge on how to use the machines correctly. They will gain the knowledge on how to exercise at home through bodyweight exercises. They will be taught how to use the CV machines properly and about their modes. They will be taught about the different factors of exercise and how to do them. They will increase their social, mental, and physical health and wellbeing. They will learn about the health and safety of exercising properly. They will learn how to stretch properly when warming up and cooling down.
